I'd like to order prints of my trainee in Dress Uniform (AGSU/Pinks & Greens)?
At this time we do not offer prints of trainees in their Pinks and Greens on FtWoodPhotos.com.
Those are exclusively offered on base to your trainee, if you want those items, we recommend letting them know that as soon as possible.
Which graduation date should I enter when placing my order?
Please use your trainees final graduation date from ALL training at Fort Wood. We catalog trainees by their final graduation date at Fort Wood and failure to provide the correct grad date will result in your order being delayed and potentially cancelled.
Most units are BCT only units, so use that graduation date. However, some units participate in OSUT at Ft Wood so please use that graduation date if it applies.
IF YOU CANNOT SELECT THE MONTH, DAY, AND YEAR OF GRADUATION, ordering is closed for that unit and we can no longer fulfill orders for that soldier/unit.
How do I find out my soldier’s Company/Battalion name & number?
That information will come from your soldier in training (usually in the form of a phone call or letter home). As the photography company on base, we are not provided with individual information.
We do not catalog units by their nicknames/mottos so the correct First and Last Name, Company, Platoon and Graduation Date will be needed to place an order.
If your SIT was transferred or recycled at any time during training, we recommend learning which unit/platoon they were photographed with, using that information when ordering, and visiting our FAQ page prior to ordering.
How long does it take to fulfill my order?
We photograph the portrait of your SIT within the first phase of reception at Fort Wood. We then edit/process these images which can take up to 3 weeks from reception.
Once an order is placed and an image is finalized, we create the prints which can take up to 3 weeks from your order date.
If for some reason your Soldier in Training did not have their photo taken, we process full refunds in those scenarios.
Why can't I select my Soldier's Graduation Date?
We are only able to fulfill orders for 9 months after graduation. If you cannot select the Month, Day, and Year of your Soldier's graduation date, we cannot fulfill your order.
Can you tell me what my soldier ordered on base to avoid ordering duplicates?
We are unable to provide personal information of any kind about your soldier.
We always recommend communicating with your soldier before placing an order to prevent duplicates. You have up to 9 months after graduation to order so you have plenty of time.
Can I ship my order to my SIT at Fort Wood?
We DO NOT recommend having your order sent to your trainee at Fort Wood. Some items may not be available or arrive and process through Fort Wood until your trainee has already moved on. Also, Drill Sergeant's limitations on items allowed can result in items being returned.
WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE TO REPLACE ORDERS THAT HAVE BEEN SHIPPED TO FORT WOOD AND ARE RETURNED AS UNDELIVERABLE.
If your order is returned to us, we may require additional shipping and handling fees to re-ship your order to a deliverable address.
How long do you archive Portrait Photos for print?
We are only able to archive Portrait Photos for 9 months from graduation date. If you cannot select the Month, Day, and Year of the AIT Grad Date for your Soldier, ordering is closed for this Unit and we can no longer fulfill orders for this Soldier or Unit.
