Ownership of Images
All photographs and media displayed on this website are copyrighted works and are the exclusive property of Leonard's Portrait Studio, the official photography provider for Basic Combat Training documentation at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.
These images are protected under United States Copyright Law and may not be copied, distributed, or reproduced without authorization.
Purchasing a photo does not transfer copyright ownership. Customers receive a limited personal-use license for the purchased image.
Purpose of Training Photos
Training photos are captured to document the Basic Combat Training journey and allow families and loved ones to view and purchase official keepsakes of their trainee’s experience.
These images may also be provided to the U.S. Army for use within their official military platforms.
Viewing access is provided publicly, but download rights are restricted.
Viewing Photos
Visitors may:
• Browse training photos on this website
• View watermarked preview images
• Share links to gallery pages
Preview images are intentionally watermarked and are not authorized for download or redistribution.
Purchasing Digital Downloads
When you purchase a training photo download credit or the unlimited download access and use it to download a photo, you are receiving a limited personal-use license, not ownership of the copyright.
This license allows you to:
• Download the purchased photo
• Save it to personal devices
• Print the image for personal use
• Share the image privately with family and friends
Social Media Policy
Due to policies regarding the online distribution of images containing military personnel, training photos may not be posted publicly on social media platforms. This instruction comes from the Military themselves.
This includes, but is not limited to:
• Facebook
• Instagram
• TikTok
• Twitter / X
• Public online photo albums
Customers may share photos privately with family members but should avoid posting images publicly online.
If you would like to share your trainee’s experience publicly, we recommend sharing links to the official gallery page instead of posting the images themselves.
Prohibited Uses
The following actions are strictly prohibited:
• Uploading downloaded photos to public social media accounts
• Posting collections of training photos online
• Removing watermarks from preview images
• Downloading preview images using screenshots or automated tools
• Redistributing downloaded photos to the public
• Selling or commercially using any training photos
Unauthorized use may result in revocation of download privileges or further action if necessary.
Watermarked Preview Images
Images displayed within training galleries contain watermarks and are intended for viewing purposes only.
These previews allow families to locate their trainee and decide which images they would like to download.
Watermarked images may not be downloaded or redistributed.
Reporting Unauthorized Use
If you encounter training photos being shared publicly or redistributed online, please contact us so we can investigate.
